Compassionate, organized, confident in most cases, occasionally displays evidence of being a wimp at heart.  Has aspirations of being the Surgeon General some day.
Self-sufficient, Paullene never had a boyfriend until she met a young ensign during a leave of absence.  He was entering the Academy as she was being graduated.  Moving in opposite directions at the time, she to her post on the Gateway and he to the Academy before assignment, they kept in touch.  Their relationship flourished and a mutual vacation on Risa was planned.

Background:

Born on Star Base 99 to Mark Banks, Chief Engineer and Wendy Charles Banks, counselor.  There were no other children.

Paullene’s mother and father never talked about themselves and questions were discouraged.  However, in a passing conversation, a brother was mentioned.  When her parents noticed a movement and realized Paullene was in the doorway, they abruptly stopped talking.  Paullene never learned who the brother was.

After five days on Risa with her intended, Lt. John Dean, Paullene’s shuttle crashed. All hands on board were lost.

There was a new life within her which the Caligulan’s took and raised. Paullene’s cells and all of her memories were also harvested and saved. Two years ago the Caligulans decided to clone Paullene and reinstalled all of her memories.

She is able to remember most of her previous memories but is still struggling with regaining all of her other memories.
